Please voluteer
your time to work in any or all of the following committees.
It can be a very rewarding experience, and the organization definitely needs
your help.
Festival Organization
Cmt.
Will help organize volunteers and scheduling transportation for clinicians
and participants. Many cmt. members will be assisting the Festival
Will help to raise funds and promote advertising for the FEstival. Will publish
the Festival Programs, T-Shirts, Posters, etc.
Membership Drive
Cmt.
Will email, IM, and telephone potential members. Will organize data-base.
Will attend events and solicite members. Will liaison with schools, etc.
Outreach Cmt.
Will contact schools to organize concerts and classes, promoting the
bass and bass education. Will organize free public concerrts in parks, malls,
etc.
Competitions and
Scholarship Cmt.
Will organize, fundraise for, and schedule competition for Festival
and for scholarships. Will work with Membership Drive Cmt. to target people
General Fundraising
Cmt.
Will raise funds for the organization to use as general operations
and for the Festival. Will work with all other cmts. to gain perspective and
names.
