Arizona Bass Players Festival and Workshop March 5-8, 2009

Arizona Bass Players, Inc. sponsors a Festival and Workshop every year. This season (March 5-8, 2009), it will be held at Arizona State University School of Music, Catalin Rotaru organizing host. The four-day event will feature concerts and workshops Thursday thru Sunday. Local Artists, Patrick Neher, Catalin Rotaru, and Joel DiBartolo are scheduled to perform and present master classes. Guest Artists, from out of Arizona, will be:
John Clayton (jazz), Thierry Barbé (classical), Ray Reindeau, electric bass, and Irena Olkiewicz , from Poland

ABP announces the second Solo Competition, in Two Categories, now open to all electric bass guitar players and all double bass players 15 - 22 years of age, sponsored by Arizona Music Pro, Inc., Pecanic Music, Alfred Publishing, Arizona String Shop, Andrew's Fine Violins, and ISG Publications.
